No you can not sit on a cushion star because they are very small and stick to rocks so you are unable to pick it up.

How long can the cushion star survive out of water?
The cushion star can survive out of water until it starts to dry up and lose moisture witch is very hard to tell when it will happen.

What type of food do cushion stars like to eat? they eat coral,fish and mussels.

what we learnt at camp!

We learnt that cushion stars were really hard to find and they are easy to pick of rocks.
We also learnt that cushion stars are kind of multicolored creatures. We found some orange and black ones that were totally awesome.
